Exploring AI's Role in Shaping the Future of Communications Students

This research paper explores how Artificial Intelligence (AI) impacts current and future employment for communications majors at Michigan State University, compared to non-communications majors, by analyzing student perceptions of AI’s role in professional responsibilities and career trajectories through both quantitative and qualitative methods.

Working on a complex, data-driven research project as part of a group enhanced my technical skills in data analysis and interpretation while strengthening my ability to manage multiple moving parts and deadlines. Collaborating with teammates to synthesize data-driven insights taught me how to balance precision with clarity in presenting research findings.
